Our family

People are the most important part of our lives here at Yenice Vadi. Our adventure started 25 years ago with friendship and trust and has continued in that vein since. Our aspiration is for our guests and staff alike to feel relaxed and at home amongst friends here at Yenice Vadi – like a large extended family.

We are Caglar, Merrill and Gordon and Yenice Vadi is our shared dream.

Following successful careers in the IT industry, Merrill and Gordon were looking forward to a leisurely retirement and holiday escape in Turkey. Instead they decided to embark upon a second career. Turkey has always been special to them, having been visiting since the late 1990’s which is when they met Caglar on their first trip.

Caglar grew up on his family’s farm in the local village and moved into hospitality after leaving university as a qualified engineer. He then diversified into construction and building remains a passion as you can see all around you at Yenice Vadi. Caglar is the powerhouse behind the design the choice of materials and the landscaping.

Together, Caglar, Merrill and Gordon share a vision which encompasses a truly authentic Turkish experience with luxurious accommodation in a sustainable natural environment.
